UNION, NJ - Union had a fierce home opening win over New Providence, winning 4-1, on Saturday.

Goalkeepers Megan Carriero and Caitlyn Finnerty stood strong for Union with five combined saves, while Erin Lamanna held tight for New Providence with two saves.

Kayla Lima, Andrea Santiago, and Kelly Severini each scored a goal for Union, while Kayla Miller-People scored a goal and provided two assists for Union.  Nicole Alfano and Kayla Lima also both provided assists.

Riley Kinum scored a goal for New Providence.

Union’s next game will be Tuesday, September 12 against Elizabeth High School at Elizabeth School 26 and Waterfront Park at 4:00 p.m.
