UNION, NJ – In Monday’s seeding meeting for the Union County Tournament for girls volleyball, the Union High School Farmers were seeded number 7.
The Farmers will go up against tenth seed Roselle Catholic High School.
The single elimination tournament begins October 18 with the quarterfinals on October 21, the semifinals on October 25 and the finals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25 at Kean University.
Other tournament games include:
Dayton will play 18th seeded Hillside High School in the first round and the winner will face second seed Westfield High School in the quarterfinals.
First seed Union Catholic will play the winner of 16th seeded Roselle Park High School and 17th seeded Summit High School in the quarterfinals.
Third seed Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School will play the winner of the match between 14th seeded Benedictine Academy and 19th seeded Elizabeth High School.
Fourth seed Linden High School will play its quarterfinal match against the winner of 13th seeded Governor Livingston High School and 20th seeded Plainfield High School.
Fifth seeded Cranford High School plays a first round match against 12th seeded Rahway High School. Sixth seeded Oak Knoll faces 11th seeded Kent Place School in its first round match.
Eighth seeded A.L. Johnson High School will play against ninth seed New Providence High School.
