UNION, NJ – Union Mayor Suzette Cavadas, administration, and township personnel participated in the annual “Wear Red Day” campaign on Thursday.

The initiative of the American Heart Association encourages awareness of the issues of women and heart disease, and actions to save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease.

The Township of Union has raised more than $200 for the American Heart Association through the Wear Red Campaign this year and has promoted the initiative through their Mayor’s Wellness Committee.
