NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Marco Vitale doubled and drove in two runs to lead Union to a 7-0 win over New Providence in boys baseball. Nestor Conforti singled and drove in two runs for Union. Dren Gocaj, Andrew Sanborn, and Alex Camacho each had a single and an RBI in the win. Joseph Valentin tossed five scoreless innings in which he gave up four hits to earn the win. Max Rivkees had two hits, including a double, for New Providence.

In girl's softball, Nicole Trezza went 1-for-3 with three RBI and two runs as Gov. Livingston defeated Union, 8-1 in Union.  Alanna Namit went 1-for-2 with one RBI and three runs while Alyssa Hammer scored two runs for Gov. Livingston, which had a total of five hits and scored four runs in the fourth inning. Jaime Belfer added one run. Sydney Santiago went 2-for-3 with one run and Alyssa Thomas pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing two hits, with five strikeouts and one walk for Union. Jackie Schulz pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing three hits, with one strikeout and five walks.
