UNION, NJ – It seemed like old times when over a hundred 1998 Union High School graduates got together last week to celebrate their 20th reunion.

“Everyone had a blast,” said Planning Committee and 1998 Class President Erica Bell.  “I am super excited and truly blessed to have had the honor as Union High School Class of 1998 President to have helped in creating such a memorable event.”

The reunion, held at the Galloping Hill Golf Course, was organized by Bell, Committee Vice-President Deshaun Creekmur and committee members Lori Boyd, Ashlee Sullivan, Melissa Mazza-Chiong, Jennifer Roggerman, Renee Wilkins, Michael Santos and Luis Lassen.

The event included a red-carpet walk, photo booth, three DJs, games and giveaways.  Classmates remembered those who have passed away, including Raymond Fain, Ramon Burgos, Michael Pazas, Richard Epifanio, Christopher Armenti, Dazahan Smith, Sandra Gomes, Barbara Casey, and Andrea Bowman.

“Many blessings to all of the committee members for sticking in there and bringing your “A” game,” said Bell.  “I am truly happy that we were able to create an enjoyable and memorable event.”

“Friday night helped a bit as for one night, a large portion of our class made the effort to come together and give a hug to someone they haven’t seen in two decades,” said Union High School alum Christopher Blewitt on the website Steemit.  “So many different people came together to mix it up and enjoy the night.”

“All of us who were there that night are lucky,” said Blewitt.  “Blessed. Whatever you want to call it. We are all extremely fortunate to be able to have attended this event and create new memories, as there were a handful of us that will never be afforded that opportunity.”
