UNION, NJ – Start the holiday season with Union’s 33rd Annual Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting in front of Town Hall on Sunday, Dec. 4.

“It’s always a joy to see the community come together,” said Township of Union Mayor Manuel Figueiredo.  “The holiday spirit is alive and well in Union.”

Featuring performances from Township elementary schools, the Franklin School Chorus and student instrumentalists, the annual event draws hundreds of residents in celebration of the Holiday season.

In addition to a visit from Santa, this much-loved holiday tradition features holiday music, arts and crafts, holiday games, food vendors and an ice carving demonstration by professional commercial sculptor Bill Bywater

This free family event is hosted by the Township of Union.  Be sure to take a stroll through Town Hall to say ‘hello’ and have a photo taken with Santa. 

The event begins at 3:00 p.m. with the ice carving demonstration.  The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m.
