UNION, NJ – The official grand opening of Avalon Union took place on Thursday afternoon with a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion.

Mayor Manuel Figueiredo, Assemblyman Jamel Holley, Union County Freeholders Vernell Wright and Mohammad Jalloh, Township of Union Business Administrator Ron Manzella and the Township Committee joined AvalonBay executives and staff at the event.

Ron Ladell, AvalonBay Senior Vice President welcomed public officials, new residents and members of the community, saying, “AvalonBay prides itself on the quality of our communities, and we look forward to providing new Avalon Union residents with a truly remarkable living experience, combining best-in class amenities with a convenient location.  AvalonBay is extremely pleased to commemorate the Grand Opening of our newest community in New Jersey, and grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received here in Union.”
