UNION, NJ - Union police are continuing to investigate a rollover accident Monday morning on Erhardt Street at the intersection of Reeves Terrace.
According to police, a 2007 Honda CRV, driven by a 43-year old Roselle Park man, apparently ran a stop sign at the Erhardt Street intersection at about 11:15 this morning. Police say a 38-year old Branchburg man was traveling south on Erhardt Street in a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, striking the Honda. The Honda overturned and landed on the lawn of a nearby residence. The driver of the Honda was transported to University Hospital in Newark with non-life threatening injuries.
The area around Erhardt Street was detoured for approximately three hours. Police say at this time, alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be factors in the crash.
