UNION, NJ – The Union Police Department is reminding residents about the Special Needs ID Cards available to all township residents at no cost.

The program, a joint effort between the police department and Township of Union, provides ID cards for special needs residents.  The information can be utilized “by our first responders should the need arise to provide the best assistance possible to our special needs residents and their families,” read a social media post from the Union Police.

Police are encouraging current participants to update their IDs as needed with any changes.
