UNION, NJ – The Union County “Seniors in Motion” initiative presented the Township of Union with a new van that will provide free transport for senior citizens.

Union County Freeholders Christopher Hudak and Vernell Wright presented Mayor Suzette Cavadas, Deputy Mayor Joseph Florio, Committeemen Clifton People, Jr. and Manuel Figueiredo and Supervisor of Senior Citizens Activities Phyllis Monguso with the new van on Tuesday.

The vans are being awarded to a total of 18 Union County municipalities this year through Freeholder Chairman Bruce H. Bergen’s “Seniors in Motion” initiative to assist seniors with free, local transport.
