UNION, NJ – The Union Rotary continues to give back to those in need.

During the last year, the Union Rotary collected over 75 pounds of pop tabs and donated them to The Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.  According to Rotary member Robert O’Connell, the pop tabs are recycled and the money helps fund the Ronald McDonald House, which supports families with children suffering from life threatening illnesses.

To help the Rotary Club of Union collect pop tabs, please drop them off to Patel Printing at 1036 Commerce Avenue or be the Rotary’s guest at a meeting. The club meets every Thursday at 12:15 at Suburban Golf Club, 1730 Morris Ave.  The Rotary is always looking for new members who want to get involved in community service.
