UNION, NJ – A call was sent to Township residents in advance of the anticipated snow storm heading our way.  Cavadas said the Township is declaring a Snow Emergency.

“As such, to help our First Responders and DPW with snow removal, please have your vehicles off the streets by 9:00 p.m. this evening. Should your vehicle not be moved by that time, you will be ticketed and/or towed. Our area is estimated to get a range of 12-18 inches of snow and every vehicle must be off the street to ensure a timely clean-up operation.”

Cavadas said there are several municipal parking lots available for parking.
