Vendors Wanted for Indoor Flea Market

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Springfield Presbyterian Church (Parish House Auditorium), 37 Church Mall, Springfield N.J. will host their Ninth Annual Indoor Flea Market on Saturday October 28, 2017 from 9:00A.M. to 3:00P.M. 

Vendors are sought for the event.  An 8 foot table will be provided for the cost of $25.00 which is payable at the time of reservation.  First paid- first reserved. There is on-site parking.

The Presbyterian Women's Group will offer refreshments for sale.  Tables have “sold out” quickly in the past, so don’t delay! Vendors will not be permitted to sell food.    The church reserves the right to prohibit the sale of "inappropriate" or manufacturer's recalled items.  Please call the church office 973-379-4320 for reservations.  Deadline is October 6th. The reservation form can be found on our website: www.springfieldpresbyterian.com.

Chanel Missing from Battle Hill Section

UNION, NJ - Chanel has been missing since after 9:00 Monday night.

She lives on Meeker Road in the Battle HIll section of Union.  Chanel, 10 years old, is very small and timid.  According to the owner's cousin, Union police have been contacted.  Chanel does have tags. 

 

September's Athletes of the Month: Andrea Santiago and Andre Vieira

UNION, NJ - Congratulations again to Andre Vieira and Andrea Santiago, Union High School's Athletes of the Month for September.

Vieira, a junior, is on the boys soccer team and scored two goals in September.

Santiago is a senior on the girls soccer team and scored one goal and two assists in September.  She is ranked fifth in her class and has a 4.65 grade point average.

Cops Arrest 4 After Stolen Car Crashes Through Fence in Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — UPDATED AT 12:15 p.m.

Around 7 a.m. Sunday morning, a stolen car left the roadway and crashed on the 1200 block of Central Avenue, according to Westfield Police Chief David Wayman. Four males excited the vehicle and fled on foot, he said.
