UNION, NJ – The Union Veterans Alliance Parade Committee held its second annual Dinner Dance Friday night at the Knights of Columbus.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the 2016 Veterans Parade Grand Marshal. Joseph Cryan, Union County Sheriff, was selected to be grand marshal as someone who represents service above self. “Sheriff Cryan supports the veterans in every way, and we are proud to have him lead our parade next Memorial Day,” said fundraising chairwoman Phyllis Monguso.

Attendees had food catered by Café Z, as dancing continued throughout the evening to the sounds of Park Ave and DJ Joe Ricco.

“In a display of pride and patriotism to all who serve our great country, this event was a great success,” added Monguso.
