UNION, NJ – New Jersey State Police officials are still investigating a pedestrian accident Sunday night on the Garden State Parkway that killed an Irvington woman.
According to Union Fire Chief Mike Scanio, Union firefighters responded to the fatal pedestrian accident at about 10:00 p.m. on the northbound side near the Union rest stop. Upon arrival firefighters found an unconscious female with no pulse. Firefighters performed CPR until medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
