Oakland Avenue to be Closed for Paving on Tuesday, Oct. 16

UNION, NJ – Union police are advising residents and drivers of a major road closure anticipated for next week.

The entire length of Oakland Avenue, from Vauxhall Road to Stuyvesant Avenue, will be closed for paving from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16.

Police say no traffic will be allowed on the roadway during that time.  Detours will be in place.  ...

ELIZABETH, NJ - Elizabeth Police responded to an area near Mattano Park around 11 a.m. Friday morning and found a body according to the Breaking News Network (BNN).
