UNION, NJ – Union’s Summer Concert Series continued on Thursday night with a concert from the hometown group Damn The Torpedoes, a Tom Petty tribute band.

The concert, moved into the Hannah Caldwell School auditorium because of heavy rains, featured many of the popular Tom Petty tunes.

Band members include Union native Rich Kubicz, who plays the role of Tom Petty in the show, Jimi Alan, Gary Castelluccio, Jon Provan, and Ross Kantor.

“I’m sorry it’s raining so the concert can’t be outside,” said Denise who attended with her husband.  “But, we’ve seen the band before and they are great.  We’re having a great time.”

The Summer Concert Series continues on July 18 with “The Infernoes” and “New Power Soul” on July 25.  Shows are held at Rabkin Park.  Concerts are free of charge.
