UNION, NJ – The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of Union’s annual Veteran’s Alliance Memorial Day parade, but a parade of classic cars will be held on Saturday.

The township is hosting a volunteer-based Memorial Day Weekend Cruising for a Cause car parade on May 23 beginning at  11:00 a.m.  The car parade, including classic, muscle and high-end cars, through Union will raise money for front line workers through FlagofUnion.

The car parade will commence near Union High School and split into two different routes that will drive throughout the township. Routes were designed to maximize viewership while considering residents’ safety. Remember to wear your mask and to adhere to social distancing practice while outside viewing the parade.

The car parade will feature various classic cars, muscle cars, and high-end cars.  A rain date has been set for Sunday, May 24.  Click here for parade routes.
