UNION, NJ – Anthony “A.J.” DeVito, 30, of Union, died suddenly on August 16 at home. 

A.J. was a proud volunteer for the Kenilworth Fire Department for three years.  He worked for the County of Union for ten years in park maintenance.

A.J. is the beloved son of Kerry (McCarthy) DeVito and John A. Devito, brother of Benjamin and his wife Jacqueline.  He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and Ruthie Ann, the family dog.

Visitation will be held at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 No. Broad Street, Hillside, on Monday, August 19 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Church, 541 Washington Avenue, Kenilworth on Tuesday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kenilworth Fire Department.
