UNION, NJ - It’s that time of year again! For the month of October, Townley Presbyterian Church is concentrating their efforts on hosting Townley’s most successful rummage sale yet. They have been collecting items since their last sale in the Spring. They have closets stocked with items in the chapel’s basement. But don’t let that stop you from getting the word out to your family, friends, and neighbors – they will gladly accept “stuff” to sell.
Items accepted are: Gently-used or new baby through adult clothes, toys, books, videos, small working appliances, kitchen gadgets, tools, sports equipment, etc. They take whatever will fit in a car trunk. Not accepted are: TVs or computer monitors or non-working electronics. Please make sure all electronics are working.
The Rummage Sale held at Townley Church, in the spring and fall, has been a tradition for many years. Adult members of the community, as well as young families with children, make it a point to attend the rummage sale every year.
This is a Townley Mission Project. Proceeds from the sale ultimately go to help those in need, locally and abroad.
