UNION, NJ - Nationally recognized motivational speaker and Union High School graduate Sam Anthony Lucania will be speaking to members of the community on Monday, April 6.

Lucania will be speaking about his journey through addiction and recovery, about those seeking help for someone who may be struggling, about anxiety, fear, depression, and mentorship and motivation.  "It's never too late to turn your mess into a message," he says.  Lucania emphasizes that life is full of "not yets" and encourages students to focus on the positive things they will accomplish, but haven't yet, and not give in to negative experiences they have yet to try.

There will be two assemblies for students during the day and a community event in the evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Union High School auditorium.
