UNION, NJ -  If you think finding a job right now is impossible, think again. There are jobs out there! According to the NJ Department of Labor & Workforce Development, the State has recovered a total of 219,800 jobs, or about 26 percent of the job loss in March and April. This is also reflected by Monster.com, currently listing 35,541 jobs in New Jersey alone.

To help you find a job, Union Public Library is launching a free virtual series on everything from how to network, to looking confident on Zoom, technology and interview advice. In addition, a career coach is available for individual virtual sessions on Thursdays in August, from 12-6:00pm, email dwarner@uplnj.org to sign up. Are you looking for advice on your resume, cover or thank you letters? Would you like help completing job applications? Union Public Library’s Career Coach can do this and more, including showing you valuable job websites and practicing mock interview skills.
