UNION, NJ - In response to the coronavirus, the Union Public Library will close it's doors beginning Monday, March 16, through Monday, March 30.
"In an abundance of caution for the health and safety of everyone in our community, the Union Library and Vauxhall branch will close," said Library Director Karen O'Malley.
O'Malley said patrons with materials due back to the library during this time, should not be concerned. The library will waive all late fees. The library asks that patrons hold on to their materials as the book return boxes will remain closed until the library reopens.
The library's digital resources continue to be available online through the website @ www.uplnj.org and click on "24/7 Digital Library".
"Thank you for your patience and support during these unusual circumstances," concluded O'Malley.
