UNION, NJ – Twelve Women of Vauxhall were recently honored with Legislative Resolutions for their participation in the Inaugural Vauxhall Women’s Day Program.

Women organizers of and participants in the program, highlighting outstanding women in Vauxhall, were honored with a resolution in the office of State Senator Joseph Cryan.  Program organizer Dr. Reverend Angela Battle said, “the program’s goal is to educate, equip, and empower the women and young teens of Vauxhall.”

“I wanted to take a moment to say thank you,” said Cryan.  “This particular event was historically important. Programs like this one about and for women provide opportunities, encouragement, and positivity that is incredibly important.”

The theme of the Women of Vauxhall Program was “moving from the dream to reality”.
