UNION, NJ – The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Union has risen to 28, according to Union Business Administrator Don Travisano. There have been no reported deaths in Union from the virus. The count in New Jersey, as of 2:00 p.m. Monday according to the New Jersey Department of Health’s website, is 2,844, with 27 deaths statewide.
Union County has 189 cases, the sixth highest of New Jersey’s 21 counties. Bergen County shows the highest incidence of positive COVID-19 cases with 609, followed by Essex County with 273. Salem and Cumberland Counties each have one case, and Cape May County has two cases.
