UNION, NJ – Connecticut Farms Elementary School teachers and staff wanted to send well wishes to the school families as the school year concluded.
According to Jennifer Parkhurst, School Counselor, she and Principal Michelle Warren were talking about ways to mark the end of the school year for their students, since the transition into summer has been so unusual this year.
Parkhurst said she made a list of phrase and staff members signed up for different words that she put all together in the slideshow. “It was awesome to create something special for our students that included all our staff members,” Parkhurst said. “I hope students and their families enjoyed watching it, and that they know we are thinking of them and wanted to share something with them to celebrate the end of the school year.”
Their message read:
Dear Connecticut Farms School Family,
The last few months have been tough. We have really missed you. Remember, we are all in this together. There are better and brighter days ahead. This school year is almost over and a new one will begin! We recognize and appreciate your hard work this year.
Have a fun and safe summer. See you next year!
