UNION, NJ – Counseling services for students needing help dealing with the sudden death of Kawameeh Middle School student Jeremy Maraj will be available beginning Monday, July 22.
In an email to school district parents, the Township of Union Public Schools Counseling Department said they will be providing counseling services to students beginning on Monday. Parents should call 908-851-6504 or email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
Maraj was the victim of a hit and run accident on Wednesday, July 17, on Galloping Hill Road. Maraj died on Friday morning at University Hospital.
The driver of the van has been identified and the police investigation continues through the Union Police Department and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.
