The DMK Scholarship Fund is a 501(c) 3 created to honor the memory of Doug Krueger, a Union born and raised young man whose life was cut short in a tragic accident in 2004. Doug was active in Kawameeh’s and Union High School’s performing arts companies, the Papermill Playhouse, Wagner College, and was an associate producer at MTV in NYC prior to his passing.

After his death, his family established Cultural Arts Scholarships at all those institutions in his memory and to help others achieve their dreams.

Each year the Fund awards over $3,000 in Cultural Arts Scholarships to graduating Union High School seniors, a $1,000 Rising Star Scholarship at the Papermill Playhouse and an endowed scholarship at Wagner College.
