UNION, NJ - The Concerned Citizens of Vauxhall Association in partnership with the First Baptist Church hosted a community cookout on Saturday, bringing community together.   

Kim Eason President of the Concerned Citizens of Vauxhall Association said, “this is an opportunity for folks to come out and celebrate family, give back to the community, and to share some love”.

Members of the Union Fire Department and representatives from Overlook Medical Center also came to participate.

Deputy Mayor Joe Florio said, “It's great when organizations come together to put an event like this together.”

Township Committeemen Manuel Figueiredo and Clifton People and Committeewoman Michele Delisfort also stopped by to meet and talk with residents.
