UNION, NJ – Upcoming Township Committee meetings, beginning with the March 24 meeting, will restrict public attendance until further notice, read an alert from township officials.
Due to the current state of emergency and public health emergency declared by Gov. Murphy pursuant to Executive Order 103 and in an effort to prevent further spread of COVID-19, the meetings will be held virtually.
All meetings can be viewed on Comcast and FIOS Channel 34 and on the Township of Union’s government Facebook page. Members of the public can submit questions or comments no later than 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, to Clerks@Uniontownship.com. Emailed questions or comments should include the sender’s name and address and the email should be titled ‘public meeting comment or question’.
The Conference Meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on March 24 has been canceled. The Township Committee meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. to comply with curfew restrictions set by Gov. Murphy.
