UNION, NJ -  Save a life; give blood.  The Union Elks Lodge #1583 is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, June 25, from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.   Those interested in donating blood must call 201-251-3703 to make an appointment.  There will only be two donors every fifteen minutes.

For the safety of everyone, the temperature of every donor will be taken at check-in.  Those with temperatures higher than 99.5 will not be permitted to donate or remain on site.

There will be larger waiting areas with chairs spaced six feet apart and donors will receive individually packaged snacks and beverages.  The number of individuals in the waiting room will be limited to adhere to physical distancing guidelines.  Donors will be asked to wait for their appointment in their car or other comfortable and convenient location.  Donors will have the option to receive a phone call or text notification when their donation time is ready.
