ALLENTOWN, PA - In an effort led by Muhlenberg, the Centennial Conference men's soccer programs raised over $2,500 for Allentown, PA's Casa Guadalupe Center in a FIFA-Stay-and-Play-style EA Sports FIFA 20 tournament. Kane Doyle '20 (United Kingdom) claimed the tournament title, 9-4, on aggregate over teammate Taylan Akdag '23 (Demarest, NJ.)
The event was spearheaded by Muhlenberg students Alexander Parillo '22 of Union and Jordan Cimring '20 of Scotch Plains.
Casa Guadalupe Center is a non-profit, community-based organization that meets the needs of primarily the Latino residents of the Lehigh Valley. During the Covid-19 crisis, Casa Guadalupe is helping students receive meals by funding and delivering dinners.
