UNION, NJ - Union's first responders answered a call of a suspicious package in front of a business on Morris Avenue Monday morning.
Union police and firefighters and the Union County Bomb Squad answered the call to investigate the unattended package in front of 2137 Morris Avenue. The package looked like a briefcase. "The caller did the right thing by calling in the package," said Captain Robert Perez of the Union police. Perez said a member of the bomb squad suited up and opened the case to find papers inside. There were no injuries reported.
