UNION, NJ – The Union Police Department is reminding residents about the Special Needs ID Cards available to all township residents at no cost.

The program, a joint effort between the police department and Township of Union, provides ID cards for special needs residents.  The information provided on the card is stored stored and utilized by first responders to better assist the special needs individual should the need arise.    To apply for a new card, click here.  Complete the required information and submit with a photo.  A police department representative will deliver the card in person shortly thereafter.

Police are encouraging current participants to update their information and photo periodically to ensure they have the best information.
