UNION, NJ – Two men were caught on video burglarizing a car in the early morning hours on Wednesday.  According to Union police, a resident used a motion activated camera in his car to capture two men burglarizing it on Wednesday morning.

Police are looking to identify the men in the video.  An image of one of the men from the video was provided by police.  Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man to send a private message to their Facebook page or call and speak with a detective at 908-851-5030. Police warn that there has been an increase in the thefts of high end motor vehicles from Monmouth to Sussex Counties, as far west as Hunterdon.  Union has not experienced many of those kinds of thefts, police say, but the suspects are passing through the town.
Remember to lock your car doors and not to leave valuables in sight, police add.
