UNION, NJ - The Union WalMart was evacuated for a time Thursday morning because of two separate calls to Union police reporting the sighting of a masked gunman at the store.  The first call was received by police at 10:48 a.m.

Union Police Director Dan Zieser said no suspect has been located, no shots were fired, no weapon has been recovered, and no injuries reported.  WalMart was reopened shortly after 12:00 p.m.  The store is located at 900 Springfield Rd, off of Route 22 East.

An investigation is ongoing.
