UNION, NJ – Field hockey player Gabriela Lodato says she can’t wait to show all she’s learned at Union High School when she gets to Keystone College.
Lodato participated in an at-home signing last week committing to attending Keystone College in the fall. “I feel sad but accomplished about leaving Union High School. I learned so much being at this school surrounded by many different people.”
Lodato said she chose Keystone College because not many colleges offer her field of study. “I also just felt like Keystone was the perfect choice for me after meeting the coach and the field hockey team, I knew they would be my next family.”
“I’m really excited to just dive right in to the next part of my life and to get more serious about my future career,” Lodato added. She said she’s also excited to bond with her new team and travel with them. “I’m ready to put in the work to make this a great freshman season.”
Lodato will be studying Wildlife Biology. She said she sees herself becoming a zookeeper and helping conserve endangered species.
