UNION, NJ – Union High School football player Isaiah Stewart has been selected TAPinto Union’s September Male Athlete of the Month.

Stewart has had 23 receptions, five touchdowns, 36 tackles, with 383 yards and one interception this season.

Who is your favorite athlete and why?

Other than myself, idk.

What are the most important attributes of being a leader?

Three major keys:  Decision making; Positive attitude; Setting the right example  --you feel me?!

What is your greatest high school accomplishment so far?

Having the school record in history for receiving yards. (Scotch Plains)

Do you play any other sports? What’s your favorite?

Oh of course, I participate in track and basketball but football is the best by far.

What’s your favorite subject? Why?


If you could spend the day with anyone in the world alive or dead, who would it be?


What would your words of wisdom to be future UHS Athletes?

If you wanna get to where you wanna be in the future it takes hard work, you feel me? If you not trying to do the work to get to where you wanna be why complain about where you at now?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

NFL football player

What’s your favorite part of being a high school athlete?

See I would say the grinding and the big muscles I have but I think the recognition is the best probably.

What was the most difficult thing for you to overcome as a student-athlete?

I think right now what I’m going through is the toughest but I’m gonna be alright.

Who inspires you?

I’d say Tony Tone inspires me.

What are your plans after high school?

College ofc just gotta decide what college.
