CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Essex CountyHousehold Hazardous Waste Collection Day was Saturday, May 7th. The spring event was an opportunity for Essex County residents to dispose of pesticides, motor oil, paint, fluorescent light bulbs and other household materials in an environmentally friendly way. There were 1,485 residents who brought material to be recycled at the event, which was organized by the Essex County Utilities Authority.

The Essex County Computer and Electronics Recycling Day will be held Saturday, May 21st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 125 Fairview Avenue in Cedar Grove next to the old Essex County Hospital Center.
