WALDWICK, NJ - The Cedar Grove Panthers boys baseball team opened its season with a 4-1 victory over Waldwick on the road Thursday.

Ray Williams pitched a complete game for the Panthers, allowing one hit and striking out four and walking two.  Williams also drove in two runs for Cedar Grove.  Shane Benson went 3-for-4 and scored one run for the Panthers.  Anthony Clarizio drove in one run for Cedar Grove.

The Panthers will travel to Bloomfield on Saturday at 11 a.m.
