Bloomfield Police Arrest Two, Seek Third Suspect in Wendy's Sneaker Robbery


BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield police arrested two suspects, and are searching for a third, in connection with the robbery of $500 Nike sneakers from a victim in the Wendy's parking lot on Bloomfield Avenue.

Bloomfield police responded to reports of three males attacking another male. According to witness reports the 41 year old victim was punched and kicked while on the ground. The victim sustained cuts and facial bruising as a result of the attack

Witnesses provided descriptions of the suspects to Bloomfield Police. The police found two of the suspects walking in the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Watsessing Avenue. They had one of the victims sneakers and a hat in their possession. Bloomfield Police arrested Ahmari Gilmore age 21 and Bobby Reed age 23 both of Newark NJ for robbery and conspiracy.

The third suspect is still at large.A witness was able to capture a picture of the third suspect running from the scene. Police are actively attempting to identify and locate the third suspect.
