CEDAR GROVE,NJ - The Cedar Grove Panthers opened their season with a  52-50 comeback win over the Weequahic Indians at home on Friday night.

Mike Pronesti had 25 points, four rebounds and four steals in the game where the Panthers trailed at the end of each quarter before coming on to score 18 points in the fourth quarter for the win.

Shane Benson tallied 12 points and five rebounds and Sammy Ventola recorded 11 points, six rebounds and four assists for Cedar Grove.  Dennis Mitola scored three points and grabbed seven rebounds and four steals for the Panthers.

Cedar Grove will travel to North 13th Street Tech on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
