NEWARK, NJ - Mike Pronesti scored 16 points to lead Cedar Grove to a 59-53 victory over Science Park in Newark on Tuesday.

The Panthers outscored the Chargers 11-4 in the first quarter, but Science Park collected 15 points to Cedar Grove's 12 in the second.  The Panthers entered the second half with a  26-19 lead.  

Cedar Grove dominated the third quarter going on a 22-10 run.  The Chargers answered in the fourth outscoring the Panthers by 10 points by it wasn't enough to clinch the win.

Alex Michalski collected 13 points for the Panthers and Joe Rufo tacked on 10.

The win improves the Panthers to 7-6.  They travel to Newark to take on Shabazz on Thursday at 4 p.m.
