Boys Basketball: Verona Falls to Millburn, 48-30

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn boys basketball team built a 14-point halftime lead en route to a 48-30 victory over Verona Tuesday afternoon.

Senior swingman Ross Gang scored 22 points and came down with eight rebounds for Millburn (17-2), which led, 24-10, at halftime.

Senior Sam Herbst and junior Ethan Fine each scored seven points for the Millers, who limited Verona to fewer than 10 points in each of the first three quarters.

Joey Fresco and Nicolas Gonzalez led for Verona with seven points each.  

Verona falls to 7-14 for the season.  They travel to Basking Ridge on Thursday at 7 p.m.
