CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Five different players scored multiple goals to lift the Cedar Grove Panthers boys lacrosse team to a 14-2 victory over the Saddle Brook Falcons at home on Tuesday.

Alex LoPresti had three goals and five assists in the win, while his brother Nick LoPresti found the back of the net four times and had one assist.  James Johnson had three goals for Cedar Grove.  Joe Amati had two goals and three assists and Jordan Amati had two goals and two assists.

In the net for Cedar Grove, Moe Guarino had ten saves.

The Panthers improve to 7-1 for the season.  They host Newark Academy on Thursday at 4:30 p m.

On May 4, 2018 at 2:58 p.m., Ptl. Raymond Cassella stopped a vehicle for not having an inspection decal and an obstructed windshield. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male operator from Paterson for driving with a suspended license and having a suspended registration. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a summons to appear in municipal court.
