VERONA, NJ – With five goals and two assists, Jack Farrell led Verona to a 13-8 victory over Boonton on home on Wednesday. 

Verona took an early lead, scoring four goals in the first period and three in the second, to enter the second half with a 7-3 advantage.  Boonton tried to close the gap, but couldn’t overtake the Hillbillies.

Carter Kenny delivered four goals and four assists in the win.  Andrew Gagliostro had six saves in goal for Verona.

Connor Davis, Frank Rao and Austin Van Zant scored two goals each for Boonton.  Jacob Feland had 10 saves in the losing effort.

Verona hosts Pequannock on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
