VERONA, NJ - The Verona Hillbilly boys lacrosse team got its first win of the season, topping Pompton Lakes, 13-0, at home on Thursday.

Charlie Torikian scored four goals in the win.  Trevor Spinelli and Matt DiDia each tallied two goals and two assists for the Hillbillies, while Chris Sabo added one goal and two assists.  Matt Aldiero, Jarrod Keating and Jerry Strippoli each had a goal for Verona. 

Verona improves to 1-2 for the season.  They travel to Millburn on Saturday at 11 a.m.
