Boys Wrestling: Cedar Grove Takes Third in NJSIAA District 7 Wrestling Tournament

RIDGEFIELD PARK - Anthony Clarizio, Joseph McCarthy, and Eric Kriegsman's first-place finishes at 126 pounds, 170 pounds and 285 pounds, respectively, highlighted Cedar Grove's third-place team showing in the District 7 wrestling tournament behind DePaul Catholic and Roxbury.  Cedar Grove had 157.5 team points.  Coach Goduto was selected District 7 Coach of the Year.

Moving on to regionals at Mount Olive with Clarizio, McCarthy and Kriegsman next week are Dominic Tafuri, John Schultz, Vasili Cook,  and Daniel DiPrenda.

Dominic Tafuri came in second for his weight class at 106 pounds; John Schultz finished second at 138 pounds; Vasilli Cook was second at 160 pounds; and Daniel DiPrenda was second at 182 pounds.
