VERONA/CEDAR GROVE, NJ - The general election is May 9.  Polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Cedar Grove

In Cedar Grove, there are three seats up for vote.  The four candidates for the seats are incumbent Joseph Cicala who was elected in 2016 to the unexpired term of former Councilman Joseph Chiusolo, who resigned, Donald Elting, Kerry Peterson and Robbie Vargo.

• District 2 — North End Fire House, 170 E. Lindsley Road

• District 3 — Memorial Middle School, 500 Ridge Road

• Disrict 4 — Cedar Grove High School, 90 Rugby Road

• District 5 — Cedar Grove High School, 90 Rugby Road

• District 6 — Leonard Parks School, 520 Pompton Avenue

• District 7 — Ambulance & Rescue Squad, 651 Pompton Avenue

• District 8 — North End School, 122 Stevens Avenue

• District 9 — South End School, 116 Harper Terrace

• District 10 — Leonard Parks School, 520 Pompton Avenue

 

In Verona, there are also three seats up for vote.  There are six candidates for the three seats: Donna Cannizzaro, Carrie Ford, Edward “Ted” Giblin, Jack McEvoy, Christopher Piccuirro and incumbent Kevin J. Ryan.
