CEDAR GROVE, NJ - Township Manager Tom Tucci announced the cancellation of Cedar Grove's annual Memorial Day Parade and all Summer Recreation Programs, including Swim Team in a letter to residents on Friday.  The town pool will not open on Memorial Day Weekend as is tradition.  No decision has been made as to when the pool will open for the season.

In addition, the Annual Clean Sweep and the Summer Concert and Movie Series at Morgan's Farm is canceled.  Tucci said that a decision has not yet been made on the Annual Fireworks Display which is currently scheduled for July 2. (rain date of July 3).

In his letter to residents, Tucci stated:  "We understand that these activities are a big part of our Cedar Grove families' summer plans, but it is imperative to remember that this is the only way we can guarantee that the successes we have had "flattening the curve" remain consistent in our efforts to control the spread of the virus.  We thank you for your continued support and patience in this matter, we are all in this together, Cedar Grove Strong!"
